emailed this guy the other week -

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221150745996?ssPageName=...

when the car was up at starting price of £900 (its been listed several times) asked him about paperwork and rust issues...to which i got no real reply.
2 days later i got a reply offering me the car for a bargain £8000, as it was worth £80,000 restored (its not by the way..)
I emailed back asking if that was a mistype and got this reply -

Person patent who no going to die ask for gift: life . . . doctor and there nurse wuld no answer them . . Sp they ask the gratess judge. How much sad judge is LIFE - to have your LIFE? - Master say we need 8000 pound to stay alive. Is it JUST . . . may be the master say b 4 tay die.Consider there funeral that ane considre 8000 then to SMALL price to ask- rollsroycelitd

He then changed the start price to £2400 and got no bids and relisted it at 99p start...
worrying thing for anyone bidding is that he is insisting on a £250 paypal deposit be paid immediately that the auction finishes... I would recommend that no one does that as Paypal WILL NOT refund deposits on cars no matter what the reason so its basically giving the guy a gift of £250.

Looks like a whole lot more hassle than it could possibly be worth.... Even if you wanted it and bid and won it, I can see the arguments over deposit, actual selling price, description, collection being a huge nightmare...

Looks to me like the current bid, at 908 pounds, is plenty for that.

80,000 pounds restored? Yeah, show quality 59 Eldorado with air and cruise.. in persian sand.. MAYBE.

Friend of mine has a gorgeous 65 Eldo ragtop, he figures it's worth $30k here.

I think the whole things one big scam. I would report it to ebay. Seriously, have you read all the feedback comments in his profile. This has got to be his team or mates building up the profile so they can start scamming properly rage

As they used to say on Hill Street Blues, 'Lets be careful out there' frown

hope he picks it up quick, before the seller "looses" it, as you do with large items such as a 429 caddy lump..
