whilst casting around for a winter daily, I spotted a (from the pics) tidy looking xj 4.0 cherokee, orvis. How do these play out on the lpg, in terms of running costs, reliability etc,

There aren't any pics on the interior in the advert, so I don't as yet know where the lpg tank is (in boot or under car) or what the interior looks like, although as an orvis, it should be well loaded

Not a Cherokee but I do run a 4.0 Wrangler as winter transport on gas and it returns about 28 - 30 mpg equivalent and ive had no issues over the last 2 years with LPG its been spot on.

I've run several over the years, as an XJ you may find the gas is in a donut tank where the spare wheel should be.

Never had a problem with the 4.0l and LPG makes a great winter hack
