Chevy Tahoe - disable airbag
Discussion
I'm off to Florida next week with my Son and we've rented a Chevy Tahoe. He's 3 and will have his own car seat, and I want him to be able to ride up front with me like his does in the UK.
I'd like to establish in advance if there's a passenger airbag override on a 2012 Tahoe so we can accommodate this. And if so, where it is.
Anyone know?

It has a seat weight sensor. He shouldn't weigh enough to turn the bag on. Keep this in mind before you give him something of weight or place something in seat with him.
No worries.
If you are worried, you could pull the fuses. Under the hood, box is on left, fuse 40, and 45 I think. Fuse chart is on the inside of the fusebox cover.
Going to Disney? Food and wine fest at EPCOT.
No worries.

Thanks! I found a PDF of the owners manual so I'd figured out the sensor thing, but it's useful to have the fuse info as well. No worries.

Not doing Disney; Miami, road trip to Sarasota, then across the Daytona, down to Kennedy Space Centre, back to Miami and home again.
