Wouldn't that just make it a re-badged LY platform Challenger with 2 headlights instead of 4?

Looks awful compared to the classic Cuda pictured and the Challenger it's replacing supposedly.

Clues are in the text - rear drive platform that will work in Europe. This car is somewhat closer to reality than the article implies.

I posted this on the Mustang Owners Club and got a mixed response. Personally, I think that looks superb. Don't get me wrong, the current Challenger is an achingly gorgeous car, but if retro's dead, then that rendering works for me. It's not just a generic "me too" coupe, it's got style by the bucket-load and yet still has a few nods to the previous Barracudas.

However, I have seen spyshots of a heavily camoflaged Challenger that appeared to have the innermost headlamps blanked, giving it single headlamps each side. That would be the cheap and easy way to make a new Barracuda, but more of me wants it to look like that rendering.

A proper, modern day muscle car. Just make sure that 6.4l Hemi is still available!
