i am thinking of converting to lpg on my 1997 f150 4.6 petrol. I only do about 100 miles per week and that is in town stopping and starting. Can anyone tell me if its worth doing, how much i would save and how much the conversion would cost? I will be keeping it for at least a good 3 years.

Waste of money IMHO!! you wont get the same mpg from gas as petrol maybe 20% less and a decent kit will be upwards of £1500, maybe devalue the truck and you will need to tell your insurance co.... do your sums, hope that helps...

Totally agree.

A decent Prinz multi point system with valve care (essential on a Ford) will be £2,300 + VAT.

I wouldn't bother for the mileage you're doing.
