I just found out that CMG Typhoons are pretty affordable in europe at around 10k euros. Does anybody know what the weak points are of this car?
I assume that it won't really go round corners well, but apart from that?

i recently imported a Syclone (pick up version of Typhoon) from America and it's been good so far, i once went to look at a 140k miler that was running and in good order so i presume they are solid vehicles, there is a small but growing owners group starting up i can put you in touch if you want to know more.

Well, so far I'm just trying to find out as much as I can about the cars. I'm not going to go out and look at examples immediatly. Do you know good places to go for info like buying guides and such?
The only I have been able to find so far is syty.org, are there any others?

Thanks for the info. In your opinion, what is it like to drive here in europe? Is it a one-trick pony with mainly enormous acceleration figures, or more versatile than that?

great fun but it really is a one trick pony to be honest, no one is ready for the way it gets to a ton wether in the passenger seat or at the traffic lights, bear in mind mine is the pick up so more limited in use than the typhoon, it's still a lot of performance for the money if you find a good one.
