I saw one of these today and quite liked it. Old-school 4x4 styling with a whiff of LR Defender. Looked pretty decent inside too. Might be a good choice for slogging up and down the country in all weathers.

Any thoughts on these? Good points, bad points, real-world ownership stories? Any models to avoid?

I'm expecting parts prices to be suitably yikes but then I currently run a V12 Jag so how much worse can it get.

Also concerned about long term reliability, parts availability, and a possible lack of expertise in the UK, although Google throws up the names of a few Jeep indie specialists.

Any feedback welcomed.

Good car truth be told drivetrain is typical jeep ie bombproof the 3 litre v6 diesel will return sensible mpg the only thing that let's them down are cosmetic issues like wheels corroding and the faux leather splits on the seats

as said, its a Jeep its built tough and will go anywhere. Bit of a wallowy tank to drive but then I drive a Ram so I can hardly complain.

If you like the styling go for it, certainly a rarity on the roads.
