Ok guys and girls, I've just took the plunge and bought an old jeep grand cherokee on a 96 plate and got some niggly bits I want to sort out with your help and advice.

Firstly the airbag light is on constantly, checked fuse that's fine so any ideas on what it could be would be appreciated.

Secondly the off side rear electric window doesn't work, can't seem to find out where the fuses are from diagrams so again any help greatfully received

Hi,do you have key slot on the dash or in the glove box that turns off
the passenger airbag? .
If you do ,and its turned off it would illuminate the airbag light.
Just a thought biggrin
Cheers.

Sounds like you've got a zg think there was a recall for occupant restraint controller on them may possibly be your problem if you pm me your vin number I can check if you like

As for the window normally its either the regulator/motor or the wiring between the pillar and the door

Cant find a key for switching the airbags off anywhere in the vehicle, checked the owners handbook and it isn't listed under the entire airbag system anywhere that I can see, so I'm guessing not a disarm able system like newer vehicles, it does mention airbag control module that controls the light so I'm wondering If this is faulty as this throws the light on if it detects any problems.
