Hi all,

Can some one recommend a good company to bring over a couple of cars from Texas, I would like to use roll on roll off, and ideally like the cars collected from a home address in Houston, but the cars can be driven to port if required.

Thanks!

Well my best quote so far has been $900 for RoRo, does that sound cheap / expensive ?

Sounds cheap!! watch for hidden extras like storage and handling, both sides of the pond! can add up if there is a hicup,
and will this include customs clearance/ paperwork???? as it is possible to DIY
but the guys that do it know how it all works and exactly what needs to be paid!
good luck, hey what are you hoping to import?

I paid $800 ro-ro back in 2004 from Baltimore to Bristol so I'd say that was good. I found booking it from the American side was way cheaper.

Obviously that excludes things like marine insurance (£400 from memory which may be flawed) and duties and docks fees this end.
