I posted this in GG last week but feel this is probably a better place to get a response.

The vehicle is a 1994 Spartan chassised Winnebago motorhome with a cummins diesel engine. Unfortunately we don't have any handbooks as it's a finance repo.

I 'think' the instrument cluster is GM and may well be part number 16156355 but trying to find an image of one is a nightmare, so any help gratefull appreciated.

Thanks for the answers so far.

Apparently it's not coolant as it doesn't have a thermometer next to it, or water separator as the chassis is too old to have had one wired in.

I've been told it may be hydraulic fluid level for the fan???? confused

Without any sort of handbook though it's proving difficult to get an exact answer.

Looks like a fluid level
Either hydraulic fluid in braking system or steering dependant on type of braking system
which may share the fluid res.

The pair with 1 & 2 on them may refer to braking circuits
Or air pressure warnings if its fitted with air braking.
Some vehicle similar to Ford / Iveco have air over hydraulic systems.

Could be correct on coolant as the symbol shape is the same as the one in the centre
of the rev counter

Thanks for your help guys.

Turns out it is the coolant level. Apparently these things have a water filter in the system that can cause air locks which then spews out some of the collant.

That be a Fleetguard filter to help keep the water system clean.
Also Cummins along with CAT,and others aso sometimes use a bypass oil filer that looks similar to
a bog roll which does the same very fine filtering with the oil.

chances are the water filer will have never been changed for years & will be all swollen up inside, if you do change it there it often a water shut off valve next to it, to stop you loosing all your coolent
