Broken mirror glass will cost £550 plus Vodka

A friend broke my mirror glass on my Dodge Ram

Dealer wants £550 plus the Vodka because I have to buy a complete unit as the glass is not available seperately.

Think I'm gonna go beat my friend up

Alternatively I got just the glass for my truck mirrors from the parts guys at David Boatright.

The other possibility is finding a suitable area of glass in halfords and tehy will cut it to shape - may be difficult if the mirror is large though and don't forget you need the glass from the opposite side of the car or your reflections will be the wrong distance away.

IIRC if you take in a cardboard cutout of your mirror into Halfords they used to have a service that they will get it cut for you.

All you will need to tell them is that your existing mirror is either flat, convex, or aspheric (blind spot) glass.

On your template mark it with FRONT for the side you want.
