Anyone know of a rolling road/tuner that has one of the above mentioned softwares to reprogram the speed limiter on a 2011 Camaro?

Just buy one of the after market tuners. Diablo predetor or such like and one of the options is to remove it.

I've done mine, but have yet to test if it was a success

Mine was supposed to be set at 190mph, with the ZL585 package and bigger Brembo brakes.

I tested it in Germany, and it bounced against the limiter at 165mph...

I do have an SCT Flash device (but not sure if it's the programmable one, need to check on it) that came with the car.


Looks like you can do it with that, from the manuals on their website... Worth giving it a shot tonight :-)

Auto's need some other work as they are also limited by the trans..
Manuals dont have that issue.

Well, like I suspected, the SCT flash device can set the speed limiter.

I hooked it up to the OBDII port this morning, went to the pre programmed files from SLP, chose "Camaro Manual", "Adjust options", and there it was (set at stock, so I changed it to the maximum (190mph).

Now all I need is a day in Germany

Let us know if it works. OEM use the BCM to control speed as well and not just ECU.
So hopefully the SCT changes that too. You will know soon enough I guess.

Well, the preprogrammed files are from SLP, so not really OEM... I guess they keep track of that, but as you say, I will find out soon enough
