could anyone tell me recommended oil for 2003 f150 harley davidson? sae 5w-20 is information i have but would this be super synthetic?
Most recomend synthetic for longer drain periods and the very thin grades for economy I think if you change it regulaly then a semi syn 5/30 will be fine I strongly believe clean cheaper oil is better than contaninated expensive oil!!
changing gets rid of acids and moisture that soon build up in a low use engine but if its doing 100s of miles a week maybe you would get a benifit from full syn oil running hot for hours on end ..
I have been using Lucas 5/20 in my mustang with as far as I can see no detrimental effects the company I have bought from www.dukeriesengineering.com also sell a Lucas fully syn 5/30 on there website so I might give that a try
