looked at a nice example today (its on ebay), I have some questions

It hard hardly any documentation other than the last mot and the V5, is that an issue? anyone worked on these?

Gearbox is/was a bit "crunchy" is that normal or is it just worn? At the right RPM it was smooth but outside the range it didn't really go smoothly in gear.

it has the 500HP cummins diesel, can that motor run biodiesel?

Sorry, but you'll probably need a bit more info than that to get the answers you're after.

Ive just sold a a W900, not much info from you as said, mine also had very little paperwork, if its got a eaton fuller box then probably wont have any syncro's on it, thats why in the us the drivers are know as 'gearjammers' cos there is a bit of a knack to it

The crunchyness with the gearbox means you aren't very good with a non synchro box, this will be a Fuller Road Ranger and it is a crash box and you need to get the revs right on every change or it'll crunch. It may also have been rattly on tickover in neutral, this is OK providing it smooths out when you dip the clutch.
If you use the right bio diesel it should be OK, these engines and gearboxes are pretty bomb proof and I never had a problem with either when I used to drive them.
