Same as the title, is this a bargain?

Cheers.

Looks a good price for a genuine roadrunner, needs some work though.. I'd want to see it in person

Like the idea of it being drivable whilst being able to sort it out. Just wish I had the money and somewhere to keep it under cover.

Would something like this keep it's value as long as you looked after it and of course hopefully increase in value if you restore it to it's former glory.

Looking for excuses to cash in my non performing PEP laugh

There's a 68 Plymouth GTX on the mma site, that's a lot better than that and runs low 12's as well.

Is that the Manitoba Mopar Assc? Saw a GTX on there for $55,000. Way beyond my budget so only toying with the idea of a running car that I could slowly fix up and just drive around in. Not looking for 1000 bhp dragsters thanks biggrin

Sorry Moparmick, you meant the Mopar Muscle Association, D'oh! Do you mean the black one with the candy red stripe? Looks great and around £15,000.

Very tempting.

Keep in the same condition and the value won't go down, should go up over time, improve condition and the value will go up.
This one '69 383 4speed, £16K

This '68 383 auto, £15,750

This is the 12sec RR GTX 440 auto £13,500

Im not an expert but have had a few mopars, looks fairish to me .. you would need to check the vin number and the fender tag to be sure it is a roadrunner not a satalite!!
and its a genuine big block car , will make a big difference to its value if you sell it on later ..

Cheers.

So if I get the VIN number, how do I use that to find out if it is one or the other?

look like a nice enough car & dont sound a fortune but buy the time you do all that work + whatever else it needs, you'll easy spend 6-8k, which makes it not so cheap then, I know ive done it before in the past!!

Better just paying the extra & getting a nice car to start with

Am starting to think that way. Its just the cost of renting a garage in London thats holding me back.

Like the Blue one for £15,750 Andy ? thumbup, in lovely condition I believe. I think the owner is mad to sell it but has opted to go for the ultimate B body in most peoples eyes (hence the higher prices), the Dodge Charger.

The second digit of the vin No.for a Roadrunner should be a M, if its an L its NOT.
The 5th digit should be a T, U or V for an original 440 car, if it is an R, it would have had originally a rubbish smaller engine, let me know and I'll take pity on the poor seller and take it off his hands.

Instead of going for a roadrunner or a super bee, go for a satellite or a Coronet, there's plenty around with bb's in them, same car except your not paying for a badge.
Everybody drools over Chargers but they are massively heavy and as common as chevys.
