After a spell parked up & a few days on a trickle charger the battery does not have enough power to turn her over quick enough & start after the initial start up.

It will run for an hour or so but once you stop & try restart, not enough juice to turn her over!
( Hope not alternator as well )

So any suggestions where I can get the correct spec battery delivered quickly?

(delivered to London even better)

Thanks

I have used Tayna for batteries before. Great service and a decent price too.

I order one for a chopper and got it next day...

The Optima would work but is pricey. There are others cheaper available though.

You need one that has 650 Cold cranking Amps with top posts and the Positive on the lefthand side.

Just get a good quality battery from a decent supplier.
I have a Varta one in the Lightning and both my big heavy trucks
Reliable perfomers.

Finally got round & rightly or wrongly have fitted a 715 cranking amp one with correct terminal positions that fitted all perfect.

Hopefully no one will tell me having too many cranking amps is a bad thing!banghead

It starts lovely now!

While writing, anybody else suffering from Tyre pressure loss ( need to put air in one of mine every third day ) which is a pain.
I am told it is the chrome rim being corroded.

Any recomendations in the Essex London area appreciated for a cost effective fix.

Battery will be fine.
As for the tyre you could try taking it off and pump it right up and then cover the
rim area with soapy water do that inside rim too.
Should be able to track it down, also check the valve.
If you dont find anything move on to the tread suface with s/water.
Also you could try a can of tyre weld (halfords) spay it into the valve.
