I`ve got a 99 Z28 and the battery completely died on the way to Garys picnic. I was made redundant Friday and lost 2 and half weeks money so I`m skint and a battery is £95! Anyone know where I can get a cheap side terminal battery that would fit chevy terminals?

You can buy terminal converters so you can use a standard post battery. Not quite the same, but I bought from Halfords some post terminals (£4 ish) that have a large round flat attached that I then bolted the side terminal to so as to keep the side terminal. This was on a Chevy pick-up and has worked fine.

www.tayna.co.uk were always good for me. Failing that, find someone with a halfords trade card.

Cheers for the response. I have found out the vauxhall sitra has the same battery so I`m getting one from a scrap car near by.
