1999 Chevy Cavalier.... the early ones were very much the same to the Vauxhall Cavalier/Opel Ascona, sharing many common components. Is it not the same on the third generation cars like yours?

I recall doing some work on a Pontiac Sunbird, which was nothing more than a Cavalier convertible.

That could save you a packet on parts if it is!
