Whats it like to drive?
I know its big and heavy, does it handle ok, or is it a spongy boat?
What are running costs like, insurance, mpg etc?
Reliability?

Just starting to poke around. I like the large rear seat room and boot..

ok the handling is a bit spongy but it is american after all so upgrade the suspension american car parts are cheap ive upgraded the brakes makes a world of difference i dont find it cramped inside but i am coming from a 911 so anything seems big you can get 3 adults in the back easy"I need this 3 kids " which you cant with the camero you can get 25 to the gallon so thats on a par with a prius i think laugh anyway hers a pic

I prefer them to the Camaro but think the Mustang is better value for money.

Well that one is an extreme example.
Chally's are around for £25k or so. Though I do also like the idea of the new 2011 Mustang.
Doesnt quite have the presence of the Challenger though.

Because you end up being tarred with the same brush as these people:

It has twin turbo V12 badges on the side as well...
Pointless as it's an SRT8.

The rear seat of a Mustang is not big enough for anyone but small children.

The Challenger looks different than other things on the road, I'm guessing thats where the premium price comes from. Performance wise, the enw mustang can't be beat dollar for dollar in american muscle. 300 hp from a v6 with 30 mpg. I still wouldnt buy one though, I'm too cheap

Just bought this as my daily driver here in good ole texas smile

I really wanted to buy the previous SRT8 but to be honest it was just a little under powered & handling wasn't great.......thought I'd give the new 392 a go and boy oh boy is this car fun......power, handling & steering greatly improved and the car now goes as good as it looks!

And the noise.......pure NASCAR! Seriously consider bringing one of these back to the UK........
