Hmmm... what's the weight of the quad cam techno V6 then? A quick look suggests 115lbs for the twin turbo version MORE than an LS1 - and people say that messes the balance of the 5 up. (Estimates put the non turbo lump at 50 lbs less).

So, for a mechanical genius, I say he started by choosing the wrong engine!
