Spotted this one on the sankakucomplex website, photo was taken at the Nipponbashi Street Fest 2010.
Itasha is Japanese for 'painful car' and refers to those otaku (fanatics in English) who choose to decorate their cars with images of their favourite anime and manga characters.
This was the only MX-5 I could find though.
And it's not just Japanese cars - you name it, someone's stuck cute anime girls all over it. I even found an itasha-ised 911.
You may be interested to know that I have NO plans to decorate my own MX-5 in this way.
