The wiper blades have slowed to slow waking pace in my '93 Eunos, is it just a case of a knackered motor or is there a known fault which can cause this?? Everything else is working perfectly, Thanks.

Slightly cheaper one before the death of an alternator (which it sounds like) is to check if the belt is still tight. I had mine go slack and experience the sloooooow wipers.

The wiper assembly in a mk1 are not the best.. id check the linkages are well lubed.. and possibly replace the the motor.. should be plenty around

Cheers, everything else is perfect, suspect stiff mechanism then or a dodgy motor. Will get the lube out first!

Just a little suggestion on this, put a drop of oil on the hinge part of the wiper arm (the hinge bit that you lift up to change the blades).

Apparently, this stops the blades scraping loudly when you're using them!
