Cheap roof in SE
Discussion
OK, that's it. I am *sick* of misting up and wet seats, I need a new roof!
Mk.1 black vinyl plastic zip up window. I know Jack Smith is cheap and good but I can't afford the time to drive to Wales!
Where can I go in the SE that will do a decent job with a decent roof for a decent price!?

Having owned a couple of mx5s now, one with mohair and one with vinyl roof, I would really recommend paying a bit more and going mohair
Go on - whys that? I can see me needing a new one sometime soon, currently got a cheap vinyl one on.Only downsides are that they are more expensive and slightly more tricky to keep clean (fluff sticks to them)
A few here.

I'm probably going to try carhoodsdirect.co.uk, who have a (not very) 'special offer' on them.

I use Mark for all my servicing but when I last spoke to him about hoods I didn't remember him being that cheap - looks good though!I know that all hoods are not created equal - some have different zips and things to stop rain pouring in when you open the door etc.
Are the Freelance Mazda ones good? Any personal experience?
Try www.hothoodsmx5.com, they're based in Romford Essex, I had one fitted about 3 years ago to my last MX5, from memory fitting took about 1 1/2 hours.
