Hi all.

For the last three or four days, each time I've come to start our 1.6 Eunos (1990 if it matters) there has been a constant buzzer noise for about 10-15 seconds. This happens whether I actually start the engine or not, i.e. first turn of the ignition.

Any ideas?

Seatbelt warning buzzer? Mine does it until I put my seatbelt on! (1996 S-Special) (Sometimes, I think the switch is failing...)

DING! DING! DING! DING!.

We have a winner.

I have the same thing, and as I like to get in, turn the ignition on,start it and then put my seatbelt on I have to put up with that horrible noise.

I am starting to drown it out though, so stick with it biggrin

Cheers folks

If its this, can I assume that I either now have a fault with the switch or that it has just started working again after not working before? I have certainly not changed my start up routine in the six months since I've had it. How can I make it go away?

Takes all of 2 seconds to move the seat forward, and unplug it from the base of the seatbelt plug-end.

I'm doing that tomorrow.

It's quite possibly one of the nastiest sounds in the world.

Tried starting the car this morning with seat belt off. Buzzer sounded.

Gad-Westy .. pull the seat forward then pull the wee bit of carpet back where you clip the seatbelt into and pull the wire connector apart .. end of anoying buzzer
