Hi All,

The cover glass on my headlights (mk2) is starting to appear slightly misty toward the edges, much to my dissapointment as I've seen this on older cars and it looks bog-awful when it gets bad. Is there any way to stop it in its tracks?

Yours hopefully,
Craig.

I had this on my Focus. I cleaned them up with T-Cut followed by car polish wink

As above, T-cut will do the trick...

I had an ITR which had this problem, and I used Brasso. Worked very well. Had to do it every couple of months though. Apply, then buff it up, just like brass biggrin

Thanks chaps. It appears that the mistiness is on the inside of the cover glass though? Did you t-cut this?

Do you mean mistiness like 'steaming up'? Or the glass getting worn?

yes, it looks like the glass properties are changing - it's not condensation.
