I'm just looking at the bush kit that Chase MG are selling, and i was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere in the West Mids or slightly further afield that might be fitting these.

Looks like it might be a bit of an expensive game, what with the price of the kit itself and all, but I guess these things don't last forever and our Mk1s aren't getting any younger. smile

Thanks guys, and thanks Phil, nice to hear from you.

Yes, MX5ive is in Solihull or possibly Knowle even. I bought a set of wheels from a chap called Mark who worked in a brick outhouse on a farm near Knowle a good few years ago, and I suspect he's the same chap, only just came across the name yesterday.

Thanks for the advice on the bushes Phil, and i shall probably get in touch with Mark. smile

What about http://pistonheads.com/gassing/profile.asp?h=0&amp..., he's in Brum somewhere?

Just a word of caution on the bushes. Do they have any grease retention grooves/knurls inside? Ask them for the OD and length of a coupe of bushes and check that they are actually going to fit. There have been some disaster stories about other eBay bushes that clearly have not been measured properly when the tooling was made and don't fit. SuperPro are not that much more......
