Mould

My car has been sitting in the garage over winter and I’ve noticed that mould (or something like that) is growing on the inside of the roof and on the door trims. The stuff just wipes off so that’s not a problem but anyone got any suggestions for a long term cure to stop it coming back.

I have a dehumidifier in the garage but at this time of year it’s fighting a losing battle.

Strange that it's getting that damp in your garage, can't be that well inulated

Anyway leave the windows open a bit and/or get some silica gel and leave it on the rear shelf in the car

Is there any damp in the car? Check under the carpet in the footwells, behind the seats and in the boot.
