That's It! I'm Getting An MX-5!
Discussion
Having deliberated over which car to change my Clio 197 for, I have made my decision... a Mk1 MX-5! Not really fussed which colour / spec etc, but I'm pretty sure it'll be an Eunos Roadster. Again, I'm not really bothered which engine it'll have; either the 1.6 or 1.8 will do me just fine for everyday use. Really excited about finding a nice one (looking to spend £3-£3.5k) and the search commences immediately! I'll be sorry to let my Clio go (it's a great car), but I need to save some money and I have a sneaky suspicion the little Mazda might just be more fun! I ran a Vauxhall VX220 Turbo over the winter a couple of years back and I very much enjoyed the challenges a slightly inappropriate everyday car brought. Can't wait to do it all over again...
Ah, one more thing! I'd be after a second set of original Mazda wheels (not fussed about the design, as long as they belong on a Mk1 MX-5) for fitting winter tyres to - would these be expensive?

dont know how these things happen, but i have ended up with a mk1 and a mk2, all in the space of 5 mths, using the mk1 as everyday car at the moment, until my son decides to lower it , fit coilovers, new rear wings and then repaints it ready to take to classic le mans.
this leaves the tvr loked up and unused for 4 mths...whats happened to me ....mx5s are more fun..
