Any thoughts on this 1.6 Mk1
Discussion
I've noticed a 1.6 Eunos has shown up at a dealer round the corner from me for peanuts - does anyone have any thoughts on this/things to look out for? I'm kinda green to MX-5's at the moment...

Nothing really to worry about with these, just check normal things like oil etc. Check the sills and arches for rust/rot. Liten out for HLA clatter on start up, should go away after a few seconds. My advice would be take it for a good long test drive, check for any coolant / over heating problems (there shouldn't be any)
But generally these are bullet proof, always buy on condition! I would look to get it for around £1300 if it's any good.........

The bonnet clips on the Eunos suggest it may have not exactly have been driven by Miss Daisy
I am imagining those are purely cosmetic but could be a good bargaining point with the dealer [feigned horror] "Look, it's OBVIOUSLY been raced ffs!!" LOL.. Gassing Station | Mazda MX5/Roadster/Miata | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
