Thought it might be nice, what with all the new owners including me, Batty et al, to see just how many of us have what - a poll should do the trick smile

I just got mine yesterday but have had a Mk1 MR2 - great little cars!

I'll let you know how I think they compare.

Ah. My mistake. Tell me, is the Mk2.5 a refresh of the Mk2? I was going off Wiki you see. redface

Have her try one, and you'll have it on the drive that evening.

Realistically it's just a refresh of the Mk2. The Mk1 could be split into Mk1 (pre 93) and Mk1.5 (93-98) but the facelift was less noticable. Mk2.5 facelift included a new engine, front end design, seats, door-cards & stereo as well as several other less noticable changes. The difference is, many people specifically want a Mk2 or a Mk2.5 whereas with Mk1 they want a 1.6 or a 1.8.

Other than that, ignore me, I'm probably being over-pedantic biggrin

Fairy muff thumbup

Bit tight on the space though, and it'd upset the voting I think now. Can you bring yourself to choose Mk2? hehe

She did before she got her MR2, so she knows how good they are, she just thinks that i'll carry on using the scooby and do something stupid like super/turbo the mx5 (I would use it, but she may have a point about the modding, but don't tell her that)

See that is roughly 80 more than i would get to a tenner and about 40 more than her, i may very well use this argument. biggrin

She'd know i was fibbing, she is well aware that i want a bike, as i am well aware that the effect of getting a bike = ((The Mental x 50) x (most recent arguement + that time i did something unforgivable that i don't remember) x forgetting our 2 year anniversary)x 5.

But then she is really cute when she's angry so there is a chance i'll do it anyway when funds are ready.

Do you realise that it works out to around 60mpg? Sure it wasn't £20?
