I picked up my eunos 1.8 last week, i had a problem on the way home with the car hesitating slightly (a little unnerving when driving on a motorway!). I presumed it was because it hadn't been running for a while, i changed the plugs and it seemed to clear it up. I also had a problem with a sticking rear caliper, this was solved by changing the pads, which was a very easy job and applying a little grease to the piston on the caliper. Now i just need more time to drive the car!! its absolutely fantastic! just enough power to be entertaining without getting yourself into trouble, and plenty of sideways motoring out of roundabouts! Bring on the weekend!

Obviously its a totally different car to the teg. With the teg you had to be using the revs to get anything out of it whereas the mx5, you can have fun at much lower speeds. I drove down a road at the weekend with lots of sweping bends that i remember doing 100mph in the teg, in the 5 i did it at 60-70mph while having just as much fun. so i think the 5 is a little bit better for my licence (even though it was obviously a private road!)
