lowering springs

what is everyones feelings on lowering springs on the mk1? i want to lose the little bit of body roll i get when cornering hard. i only paid a grand for my car a while back so im not keen to spend a fortune on new shocks etc, are the eibach springs mx5parts sell any good? does any one have the apex springs?

I have the Eibach springs and KYB adjustable shocks and the handling inprovement is massive (assuming you have it set up properly). However the ride comfort is, conversely, worsened.

If you want less body roll perhaps uprated ARB's would be a better starting point.

I run them with uprated suspension and really like them.
