Hi all,

About to nip out of work to pick up my '92 J Eunos in Red. So excited!

Getting rid of my old Volvo V40 (inherited from my mum) and this is gonna become my daily driver.

Can't wait.

Excellent news!

Don't rush back though. I'd suggest you got lost and had to take a detour around an accident then deperately went searching for fuel before finally finding your way back. wink

(On the fuel note there is no fuel light. Just the fuel gauge. So don't run it until the light comes on...)

Thanks for the heads-up, the guy who sold it to me (I think he's also a forummer) warned me of the same. Longest lunch break I've ever had. And probably the most fun too biggrin Wasn't any use at the office so left a bit early as well... Just about to nip out for some milk. Shouldn't be more than a couple of hours rolleyes

Guys, some bad news. The power steering went heavy during my journey home tonight. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it more likely to be the belt or a leak? frown

Check the fluid level in the morning and look for leaks . thinking about it the PS has a seperate belt so thet may have snapped and gone AWOL or just slack .

Had a look under the bonnet. No leaks or anything untoward, but saw that the power steering/air con belt came off. Think it might be because I was driving hard in the rain. Belt still looks good otherwise. Is it worth getting a new one? Or should I just slip this one back on?

stick it back on if it looks good and just tighten it up , its done via the power steering pump. order a new belt just to be on the safe side smile
