As above, can I pick up some stock 15" MkII alloys and bung them on my MkI and do they fit and work properly?

Thanks, what about other 4 stud Mazda stuff like the 323 and MX3?

There don't appear to be many sets of MkII stock 15s about but there are other Mazda fitment ones but I don't want to end up with the wrong offset and ruin the handling.

Standard is 4x100 PCD ET+38 offset.

Anything with the offset around that sort of level will be fine, you only start getting in to issues at anything greater that +10 offset I believe. As to how much difference it really makes, I couldn't say, lots of people run with flared arches and 0 offset.

Would any wheels off an E30 fit on a Mk1?

Almost all are 14" though, and the veedub boys tend to snap up the 15s for silly money if they're decent.

Just picked up a new set of Wolfrace wheels with Kumho KU31 tyres very cheaply, at the price I paid it was the same as buying some 2nd hand MkII 15s and putting new tyres on them so I decided that was the way to go in the end.

Why the sad face? The tyres are very well regarded by Lotus Elise owners and seem to stand up better to track use than Toyo T1-Rs in that applicaton. The wheels were 35 quid each and don't look too bad. Plus they're 5 spoke and black so a lot easier to keep clean than BBS or the multispokes I have at the moment!

Wolfrace wheels just make me think of cheap, not particularly lightweight Halfords crap, but feel free to prove me wrong smile

What size are they? Any pics?

They're Wolfrace Kendo wheels in black with a polished lip, in 15 inch. I don't think they're that heavy but I'm not sure, will do pics when they're on so you can see for yourself!

Slightly long story, I ordered some ex display ones in a different style at £275 plus delivery including the Kumho tyres but got a call yesterday to say they had made a mistake and they were shadow silver and not black. I decided I didn't like that style in silver so they said they'd do me a deal on some other wheels instead so I paid a little bit more (but nowhere near what they should have cost) to get the Kendos. I was tempted by the Octane (again in black with a polished lip) but decided on the other design, but I'm not sure if I made the right decision now! hehe

Now the car needs lowering but I really like the wheels on it, they felt a good bit lighter than the ones which came off too.

Oh, if anyone is interested in the stock 14s let me know, otherwise they're going on eBay smile
