Prices do ease in winter then!
Discussion
Is it just me, or is the above the case?
I bought a car a month ago thinking that prices would be pretty stable, such is the demand, but having continued to monitor the market since, using the same search parameters, it seems that asking prices have softened by c10% or so.
(Sport model, 02 onwards, £4K up to £6K btw)
Thoughts?

Mk2s are still depreciating. So yes, the value of yours will have fallen.
Mk1 values have risen in the last couple of months, if anything. I think they're not too far away from the point where the ratty and tatty ones start either dying or being repaired to decent quality (thus worth money), and the good ones stay firm anyway.
Similar thing happened to Mk2 MR2s in the last couple of years: there was a glut of OK but dogeared ones on their last legs for £1-1.5k. Now those have either been scrapped or fixed up and you're lucky to find a decent one under £2k.
