Guys,

I'm looking to get my Mk3 lowered and the suspension geometry set up.

Will I notice a difference - for the better? Is the suspension any harder once lowered?

Thanks in advance!

I had the Eibachs fitted by Mazda. I wouldn't say it feels any harder, it does improve the feel of the car. Getting the geo sorted improved things even more, if you can get to Wheels in Motion they can do the 2 jobs done at the same time.

Thanks for your reply, Shaw Tarse.

Following a few conversations with people with lowered Mk3's, I've decided to take the plunge and have booked it in with Tony at WiM in a fortnights time. Can't wait!

I'm sure you'll be happy with the results. Tony at WiM was the man who sorted my geo, that made a noticable difference to the handling of the car.
The lowering kit fitted by Mazda helped a bit, though they did twist one of the bushes (a fairly common problem spotted by Tony)
I think I've only had one issue with speed bumps, that was when pulling in to a Mazda garage to meet some other 5'ers for a drive out frown
ETA I see you're on mx-5.com they're a pretty helpful bunch on there, several of them have used WiM
