Just wondering if anyone has photos of their mx-5 or anyone elses with a different coloured hardtop from the body, which matches the alloys?

Im thinking about white body with black hard top roof and something like these

Car is 2003, 40,000 miles and they are £4500 which seems reasonable. Get some nice coilovers on it, black hardtop and either of those wheels. Not sure for black or gunmetal.....

Think that car with black hardtop would be tasteful, its just getting the right alloys.

Some nice deep split rims would be nice, but cost cost cost.

http://www.splitrims.com/wheel_pop_up/22.html with coilovers thinking 15s would be nicest. But alas they are £1100, on a £4,000 mx5, nein.

Recommendations??

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/15-NEW-DEEP-DISH-ALLOY-WHEEL...

Something that make it a bit more aggressive looking, wider and hugging the ground...

Personally (and this is just my own opinion) I don't like deep-dish on Mk2+. They look great on Mk1s but I think the later cars look better with a multi-spoke design.

Ok, I'm too lazy to search the web for relevant pictures so I'm going to post pics of my own car...

I have 17" OZ Superturissmo...

I also have a set of 15" Rota Circuit 10 which I just use on the track. I prefer the look of the OZ STs though...

I love the look of dished wheels on MK2's, the standard offsets tend to make the wheels look a bit lost in the arches.

My recently aquired Compomotives, not the best option for performance but i do have a set of lightweight 15"s for track days.
