I'd like to remove the "Mazda" and "MX-5" badges from the bootlid of my Mk3.

Has anyone done this? I believe that they are just glued on, so warming gently with a hairdryer and then using a credit card or some floss I should be able to remove them - and then obviously make sure I remove any excess glue.

Is it as easy at that, or not!?

If they are glued, then yes its that easy.

But I'd double check theres no pins and holes in the panel.

The official OC forum lot will know.

Assuming no pins. Pull badges off or run fishing line behind them to cut the adhesive. Then clean up with WD40 to remove remaining adhesive residue. Polish/wax area, done.

Thanks for tips!

It seems that the two outer badges are glued, but the central Mazda logo is pinned on - won't be removing that one then!
