A couple of Things.....

Today has been a Good Day.....
My Eunos has been off the road for a couple of weeks, i got her back last saturday but was working Sunday and all week so haven't had chance to take her out.
She'd been into MX5 Motors after overheating and loosing lots of coolant.
Turns out that the heater matrix pipe had corroded due to oil dripping onto it because the O ring was knackered. But also two other pipes also had small leaks on them!
The alternator belt also needed changing as it had a chunk out of it and I wanted a new exhaust fitting which i'd bought. So i dropped it off with Steve at the above garage, he changed all three pipes, the Oring, fitted my new exhaust, and did a full waxoyl. Total cost £160.
I thought this was dirt cheap. Can completly reccomend the place, and i hope no-one minds me linking to the website... www.mx5motors.co.uk
So this morning nice and early, the sun was shining, it was nice and crisp and me and the missus went for a lovely drive in the countryside.
I've recently relegated the 5 to a weekend car as i've got a company car for the commuting, - 2.0tdi Seat Leon fr. The Leon is very quick, comfortable, reasonably frugal (if you drive it sensibly) and overall a nice place to be....
BUT....
it has no soul. The day spent hooning around lanes today with the roof down, the new exhaust making a lovely noise, that quick short gear shift.
It may now only get used at weekends, and for fun, but everytime i use it i get a massive smile on my face.
Ahhhhh.
