Mk3 2.0 Sport wanted

I know this should really be in the Wanted section in the classified, but dont think anyone ever looks in there. Anyway, I'm after a 2.0 MX5 Sport in Galaxy grey and looking to spend around £9-10k.

Obviously browsed all the ads on here and Autotrader, but if you know of a good one for sale please get in touch.

I think you're about a grand short for a Sport at the moment as they all seem to be around the 11k mark for decent looking cars.

Thanks, I think you're probably right. Though it's annoying as I almost bought a brand new Sport last Autumn for £14,500 but decided against it at the last minute. There were some great around at the time, but now values all seem to have firmed up.

There are bargains out there - I think it's a case of being in the right place at the right time.
I picked mine up last weekend for a good price - but not planning on selling any time soon - proof though, that there are cars to be had in that price range .

I wonder where values will be in the next 6 to 12 months

Though tyres are down to 3mm all round, what do you reckon this is worth haggling off the asking price?

Sounds reasonable providing it has FSH, and it in good nick. Servicing is every 12.5k miles or 12 months. If the tyres are all at 3mm I'd want to replace them which means an outlay of £300 odd I suppose?
