It seems there is a national shortage of rear shocks. I have tried main dealers, specialists, ebay and breakers and nobody has any. Any thoughts?

KYB AGX 8 way adjustable £56:45 ea plus vat & delivery at www.buypartsby.co.uk Brought a pair last month for my 1.8 R Ltd after the shaft on one of the existing AGX's wore through and snapped. Needed a new spring mount as well, got one from www.autolinkmx5.com for £15:00 s/hand as opposed to £70:00.

rears are simple - they come straight off, don't even need to compress the springs to remove.

Have a look in the garage section on Miata.net, it tells you all you need to know.
