190,200+ Miles

Our Mk1 is heading rapidily to 200,000 miles and i'm planning to change it next summer to a more practical 5 series.

However if I can get the garage clear the 5 will get a reprieve with the plan to turn the 5 into a bit of a track weapon.

I'm thinking new suspension & clutch, 15" wheels, bucket seats, roll cage and strip the car. Then subject to money a new turbo'd engine.

The plan would be to do all the work myself and do a couple of track days etc.

Many people have had the same idea, myself included...

My track toy is a 130k '91 FM2...

or at least will be when I get it finished.
