I was wondering how long it would take before someone put a hideous body-kit on a Mk3. It's actually been a surprisingly long time!
What's wrong with being different & wanting something that few other people have?.........there's nothing at all wrong with having a different opinion but why should everyone have to drive around in a car that for all intents & purposes looks bog standard from the outside?I looked around for almost 6 years until I found the right MX5 & yes - it has a body kit.........I know it's not everyones cup of tea but it gets more attention than any other MX5 I've seen.
There is nothing wrong with body kits - there are some very nice ones out there - particularly on the Mk3 which seems to improve with the right body-kit with it's standard wide-arched look, especially when combined with a bit of judicious lowering. Like I said, it's taken this long for a Mk3 to appear with what I consider to be a bad body-kit (4 years in fact!).
