There's lots of talk on hear about making sure the drain holes are clear of junk to stop the sills / rear panels filling with water. As a new MX5 owner I want to make sure mine are clear - please can someone let me know where they are ?

Many thanks

try this as well mate

The drain holes in the rear sills can be "free'd" with a pen knife blade. Quite often people complain about hearing water sloshing around in the sills. Quick wriggle with a penknife blade in the 4 holes (2 each side) often results in a wet hand.

Cheers guys. I'm off to raid the wife's wardrobe for coat hangers.

Quicksilver. I'm in Cheadle, South Manchester.

I found that a bit of fairly chunky 2-core mains cable does the job well (not that mine were blocked, thankfully). You know it's clear when you've got several feet of cable hanging out the bottom of the car biggrin

Just don't push too hard as you don't want to push the tube off!
