Quick question - Spiggot Bearing.
Discussion
Knowledgeable people, just to bore you with yet another question.
Whilst I've got my engine out, I'm going to change the clutch and Spiggot bearing (bits should be here tomorrow, then it can go back in the car!) - my question being is there a way to get the Spiggot Bearing out of the fly wheel with out removing it?
Or is it a case of removing the fly wheel, and pushing it out?
Any help/tips would be nice
Regards,
Milk

On my '91 1.6, I had to take off the flywheel and drift the spigot bearing out from the centre of the flywheel on the bench - the new one then just tapped gently into place (using the old bearing to ensure it was lined up square).
Not too big a job once the box is out - I would say an extra 10-20 minutes max...
