Hi All,
Got confirmation today my juddering is from the diff.
Can anyone give me ideas on how much a new/reconditioned one would be?
It's for a 1.8 1994.
I got a quote of £550 including fitting today, but walked away as it sounded like a lot.
Quick search on the net isn't proving much help.
Thanks,
Craig

Some of the info you need is here

£550 seems very high for what's a relatively simple job. It's one I'd tackle myself and I'm not an expert by any means.

As these are now getting to be old cars the diff's can be simple or a complete nightmare to remove due to siezed bolts etc.
However I have a 1.8 diff I'd sell for £125 and I'd be happy to post or I'd fit it for £35/hr up to a max of 6hrs (free time after) that so a max of £310 fitted.
