......or I violently hit the speed limiter this morning. Fantastic clear bit of M3 private driveway at 5.30am and I was late for work so was making progress when I get "Bang bang bang". Hmmm, that'll be the limiter cutting in then, not exactly smooth and graceful is it?

From memory you remove some screw from behind the speedo face. To be honest, seeing as I have had the car for over 18mths and thats the first time I have hit the limiter I'm not really that fussed about it, was just suprised at how violently it announced itself. I just assumed it would stop accelerating at the limit not start banging like some sort of anti lag!

its 112mph. As far as I know it just totally cuts the fuel so it would be violent

Dead easy to do, remove the screw with 180 written beside it on the back of the wiring for the speedo.

Only worth while doing if u have the clocks out for another reason tho imo

I think it cuts spark rather than fuel.
