Need a favour - battery terminals

Hi,

Can someone please measure their battery clamps on their MX-5 and tell me the diameter?

I recently purchased a battery, and my clamps are too large to fit onto to the posts.

My clamps measure at 5/8" diameter, where as the posts measure at 1/2".

Which is standard for the MX5?

fk me, that's one hell of a battery you've got there - or you have mistaken dia for PCD

My Mk1 Eunos terminals measure approx 11/16" or 17mm dia.

Cheers for the reply s gentlemen. I've got it sorted now, just order some new clamps and I'll crimp them on at the weekend.

I'll get some pictures up of my car once it's fixed. Got it on Saturday, and the Water pump went yesterday! In for a new pump and cam belt on Tuesday.


Must say, the small amount of mileage I have managed to cover has been nothing but one big smile.
