Firstly, what is the make and model of this rollover/roll cage?

Secondly, do they go sideways if encouraged enough in the dry?

Thanks in advance....

Nice apart from the wheels, which could no doubt be sold for a decent amount.

IMHO wink

6K and dump the clutch. If you hang on it first time it happens i'll be impressed.

Well, since you asked... It's got a stupid giant exhaust, the stretched tyres are illegal and look daft (see previous thread on stretched tyres) and the chin spoiler does exactly that.

Christ strangely, calm down a little.

1. the tyres are stretched, so if the OP bought it, he could put some suitable ones on and flog those ones.

2. The exhaust appears to be a 100mm exhaust. If you think that's 'giant' you clearly haven't been into a town centre on a Friday night.

3. That front Spoiler is a GV spoiler which actually does reduce front end lift slightly. How it looks is a matter of opinion. I'm not chav and I happen to think it looks rather nice.

FFS! I'm not upset. He asked what was wrong with it so I told him. Gottit?

Why the fk is it that every time an opinion is asked for, and given, round here, people get told to calm down? If people don't like the answer then don't ask the fking question!

He could. I never said he couldn't. I simply pointed out that the tyres are stretched, therefore illegal and look stupid.

Not for about 20 years, no. A 4" exhaust on a 1.6 MX-5 is 'giant'. If the engine had been modified to require an exhaust of that size then perhaps there would be justification for it.

I didn't dispute that.

It is, and I gave mine, because I was asked...

Now you have given yours. Has anything changed because your "non-chav" opinion happens to be different to mine? No. I still think it's a sad example of an MX-5, as do others it would appear; You clearly don't and you're not alone either. Is everyone happy now?

Yeah, you sound so calm.

Don't speak to me like i'm a fking idiot. You wouldn't address me that way in a pub so don't do it here.

Go and learn some manners.

I *was* calm, until I was told to calm down. All I did was describe what I saw wrong with the car, as I was asked to do.
