does anyone have a guide or something as to how you can tighten them??

Moose, try this.

Try slackening off the cable at the handbrake then adjusting at the caliper.

If you can't get it tighter it may mean further work on your rear calipers (forcing the piston back a'la the front will ruin the rears. You need to wind them back with an allen key)

They can be adjusted first by the allen key in the caliper.

Then by the handbrake in the car.

Then by the cable at the caliper.

Usually they either weren't adj correctly when rear pads were changed or they're seizing so check you have full movement.
